Is the PHSD official?
Yes, it is!
The diploma you get at the end of the program is the High School Diploma, the official American diploma recognized all over the world by international universities. Flexischool students receive exactly the same certification as the American students obtain at the end of their High School. It is endorsed by Cognia, the official accreditor of schools in the USA.
What can I do after the diploma and does it give me access to any university?
The diploma you get when you finish the program certifies that you have completed your high school studies. This diploma is recognized worldwide and gives you access to any university or college of your choice, not just the American ones.
What if the university I want to attend has other requirements besides the high school diploma?
No problem, during your Professional High School Diploma, we prepare you for the SAT/ACT or AP subjects while you study the program. Consult with your Learning Experience Manager (LEM) about all the options available according to your interests and choose yours.
I'm still not sure what I want to do for a living... Will this program close doors for me?
No way! This program allows you to choose some electives, which you can renew every 6 months. These courses are very varied (geometry, psychology, digital photography or biotechnology are some examples), which will guarantee you explore better the areas of knowledge that interest you more and develop the skills needed in your preferred field.
What language will I study this program in?
The Professional High School Diploma courses are 100% in English. The accompaniment and guidance with your LEM can be either in Spanish or English, whichever you feel more comfortable in.
Is the program 100% online and will this affect the diploma?
The PHSD program is 100% online, so you can start and finish from anywhere you wish. This flexibility gives the program complete adaptability to the student, the title obtained is identical in value to what a student would obtain by attending face-to-face classes.
What level of effort does this program require from the student?
The student’s effort is variable, depending on the intensity with which he/she wants to complete it and the time he/she has available. The student’s initial level of English may also be a factor to take into consideration. Generally, at an average level of effort a student completes the program in 2 years with a workload of about 20 hours per week.
How long does the PHSD last?
The Professional High School Diploma can be completed from 6 months to 2 years. The time it takes the student to complete the degree depends entirely on the student. It will be influenced by whether the student transfers previously taken courses, the time available and the time dedicated to study, as well as the number of subjects taken per semester.
In an average effort, a student completes the program in 2 years, studying 20 hours per week.
Can I transfer the studies and courses I have already taken?
Yes, you can transfer courses from other educational systems. This means that you will earn the high school diploma earlier, so don’t forget to send us your academic transcript so that we can provide you with information about your specific case!
How many courses will I have to take in total? What courses are in the program?

To complete the diploma you will need to have successfully completed at least 21.5 credits. In general each credit is equivalent to one course.
10 courses are compulsory, the rest are electives that you choose according to your interests each semester, guided by your LEM. These courses are very diverse (geometry, psychology, digital photography or biotechnology are some examples). Do you want to see the full list of courses?

What are the classes like?
Flexischool offers a 100% online program with asynchronous lectures (videos / digital textbooks), group or individual work (evaluated by a certified US teacher), quizzes (to measure your progress) and forums (to share doubts, thoughts and meet your classmates).
And if I have a question, who can answer it?
Your LEM will always be available. He/she will help you solve any doubt you may have within the program. In addition, you can always write to our teachers in the USA in case of specific academic doubts.
How is the monitoring and evaluation carried out?
The follow-up and evaluation is continuous, with exams and written tests, group and individual projects, assignments, personal interviews and sessions with your LEM. Throughout the program you will have access to artificial intelligence reports that measure and show your progress in real time.
Are there any requirements to take the program?
To study this program you need to have passed with a minimum grade of 5/10 the compulsory education. In addition, you must have a minimum English level of B2.
Can I combine this program with others?
The Professional High School Diploma is open access 24/7/365, and allows you to combine it with other academic programs, curricular or even high performance activities. Combine it with our Professional Development Program and get the most out of your education.
What resources do I need to complete this program?
A computer and internet connection. It is also recommended that you have a headset with a microphone for meetings and videoconferences.
As a parent, how can I know my child's progress?
Flexischool´s platform allows access to weekly reports with objectives and achievements according to the progress the student has made. In addition, the LEM is continuously monitoring and contacting the student, so the parent who needs it can request an individual meeting with the LEM to get further information

Is the program official?
The program accredits the acquisition of professional competencies and skills through official certificates endorsed by universities and companies.
I want to go to college, how will the program help me?
The Professional Development Program serves both to explore diverse interests and to acquire knowledge on the specific area you want to focus your future on. In addition it allows you to deepen and specialize in a particular field in which you are interested and specialize in it. In this way, you obtain a real vision and know in advance the tools and work skills required. This will also allow you to obtain university microcredits that you can transfer once they access a university degree or higher studies to decrease your workload and gain time.
I still don't know what I want to do for a living, why should I take this program?
This program allows you to simultaneously explore different areas of knowledge and professions with the skills they require. This will allow you to have a real vision of the possibilities that exist, and to make an informed choice about your development in your preferred field.
Can I combine this program with others?
The flexibility offered in the PDP is 24/7/365, you can combine the program with other academic programs, curricular or even high performance activities. Depending on your availability and the hours you want to dedicate to it, you can study the Capstone (100h), Bootcamp (350H) or Global Fast Track (720h) program.

Depending on their availability and the number of hours they want to dedicate to it, they can study the program it in the following formats
-Capstone (100h): Approximately 3 hours per week. Recommended to complement your training by finding your vocation in areas of knowledge that interest you.
-Bootcamp (350H): Approximate dedication of 10 hours per week. Recommended to complement your training with a specialization and deepening in professional areas that appeal to you.
-Global Fast Track (720h): Approximate dedication of 20 hours per week. Recommended to dedicate yourself completely to prepare and obtain a global vision of areas of knowledge that interest you, deepening your technical and transversal competencies.
How long does the PDP last?
The PDP is an annual program, in which, depending on the modality chosen by the student (Capstone, Bootcamp or Global Fast Track), the workload changes.
How will the program help me?
You will create a Portfolio of certifications obtained guided and accompanied by your LEM. These accreditations can be transferred as university micro-credits in case you wish to access higher education. If you want to enter a job directly, this portfolio will be the real guarantee of acquisition of skills and competences required by the most prestigious universities and companies in the world, ensuring your high employability.
How many courses and certifications will I take in total?
We have more than 4,000 highly employable courses in all areas of knowledge. Depending on your choice of modality (Capstone, Bootcamp, or Global Fast Track), you will take 16, 11 or 6 certifications per year.
There are certain cross-cutting courses that are common to all PDP modalities and knowledge areas, such as SDG 2030 or Entrepreneurship tools.
